Teaching a Horse to Lead

Teaching a horse to lead while keeping its distances without crowding, step out when you step out, stop when you stop, and stand when you stand.


As with in all things horses, patience and consistency are paramount. You apply your pressure until you get the response you are asking for, and then you release it, for it is in the release of pressure that they learn not the application of it.
